Seo gurus I need your help

My movie download website is a month old is it normal that I haven’t started ranking properly because it’s new or I’m doing something wrong. I use Rankmath pro seo plugin. I’ve done all the necessary things , I’ve also built small manual back links from forums.

I started the site March 25th

It’s a movie website, hope google updates and all won’t disturb me from ranking . I do see likes of waploaded and netnaija still actively ranking so I believe I’m good too. I’ve got a DMCA page just incase.

According to SEMrush I have 12k backlinks, does this also help? I’m not a guru in seo I’m just working with what I know and what I’ve read from various forums like Freecoded (FC)
